JULIE LEWIS - PIANO & VOCALS
Lewis is a unique talent on the south west jazz scene, both as a solo artist and as part of a group. Over the last 20 years she has worked as far afield as Brazil, and spent many months playing in Greece. She has appeared on television in the UK and Ireland, and written jazz pieces played on BBC Radio 3. Her emotive and sensitive voice is complemented by her intuitive and expressive piano playing. Whether she's performing her own refreshing takes on jazz classics or her own material, Julie does it with an honesty and individuality, and with a generous dollop of fun, feeling and freedom.
