Winchester Jazz Festival presents Sax Appeal live at The Railway Inn!
Featuring five of the top UK saxophonists and a world-class rhythm section, Sax Appeal is the multi-award winning band led by Derek Nash. Derek, a multi-award winning musician in his own right, has been a member of the Jools Holland Rhythm & Blues Orchestra since 2004 and has led Sax Appeal for nearly 40 years. Expect an evening of driving swing blue note style, Ellington sweetness, pure danceable Brazilian Latin, Brecker Brothers style fusion and biting Sanborn style funk.
